Selection of filter material
The selection of the general filter material can be based on the physical characteristics of the dusty gas: temperature, corrosivity, explosiveness, flammability, etc.
Temperature is the main selection factor for bag filter selection. Generally can be divided into high temperature filter material (200 degrees Celsius), medium temperature filter bag (130-200 degrees Celsius), low temperature filtration (<130 degrees Celsius). For the bag filter with large dust gas, the filter bag with a large safety factor should be selected, but the instantaneous temperature cannot exceed the maximum temperature the filter bag withstands. For high-temperature flue gas, you can directly select high-temperature resistant filter material or you can lower the temperature of the flue gas and then select low-temperature filter material, which can be judged according to the working conditions and price.
Humidity is also an important factor in filter material selection. Humidity refers to the amount of water vapor in the gas, dry gas refers to humidity below 30%, general state refers to 30-80%, high humidity gas refers to more than 80%. For high-temperature gas containing SO2 in the air, cooling will produce dew condensation, which will cause scale and blockage on the surface of the filter bag, and will also corrode the skeleton and other materials. Therefore, the filter material should be selected carefully.
